    Candledance shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site, or the performance of the products, even if Candledance has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Remember, burning candles safely is your responsibility. We are not responsible for any misuse of our products. Candledance shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages or losses of any kind due to your use of any product purchased from Candledance. Your purchase from Candledance signifies your acceptance of the aforementioned information and policy.

    DISCLAIMER:
    All-natural soy wax is almost completely soot-free, however, all-natural cotton wicks will smoke if they are not burned or trimmed according to the warning label adhered to the bottom of every candle manufactured by Candledance. Safety guidelines are also printed on the packing slip of every order, and under "Soy Candle Care" on our website. Always burn candles away from drafts and use only on a stable heat resistant surface. Do not ever attempt to extinguish a candle by using water or allow water to ever mix with wax. This can cause a safety hazard (the wax will pop and splatter), causing possible injury or damage. Candledance is not responsible for damage resulting in the misuse of any of our products. Candledance is not responsible for any injury or loss of any kind due to your use of any product purchased from our company. In any case, our maximum liability to you is the amount you paid for the product. Candle care and safe burning are the responsibilities of the consumer. Your purchase from Candledance signifies your agreement of this information and policy.



  • Shipping & Delivery

  • At this time, Candledance ships merchandise only to locations within the continental United States and not to international locations. Nor does Candledance ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam or the US Virgin Islands. The risk of loss for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier. Candledance is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping. Most domestic orders ship UPS and are automatically insured. Please elect to add shipping insurance if you choose USPS. If your order arrives damaged please email us immediately and we will assist you with filing a claim with the appropriate carrier.

    After your order is placed, it will be shipped out within 7 business days. Candledance creates every candle by hand in the order they are received. If you need your product by a certain date, please notify us immediately so we can accommodate your request. We currently use the USPS and UPS as our primary carriers and charge exact shipping costs based on the weight of the shipment. We always use the cheapest shipping method possible and never charge a handling fee. During periods of high volume, your order may take longer to process and ship. Our busy season is September through February. Your credit card will be charged after your order is complete and shipped. Actual shipping charges are calculated and charged to your credit card. Shipping can take 2 to 5 business days, depending on your distance from Candledance. Once your package is shipped, you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking number from the carrier via email unless requested otherwise.

    We try to keep our website updated with current product availability, however sometimes an item will be temporarily unavailable and not noted. Your packing slip will note items that may be on backorder or out-of-stock. The items will ship immediately after they are back in stock.



  • Sales Tax

  • Candledance charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped. Because Candledance is located in Tennessee, all orders shipping within Tennessee will be charged the appropriate state sales tax (7%) on the total sales amount. Shipping charges will not be charged sales tax.

  • Return Policy

  • Candledance accepts returns only on unused, defective products within 10 business days. Otherwise, all sales are final; returns are not accepted. A defective product will be exchanged for the exact same product, or a store credit will be issued. No change of product or substitution can be made. Please contact us via email or by phone to make arrangements for either a product exchange or store credit and to receive your Return Authorization Number. Candledance requires proof of the defective product by way of photograph or by product being returned to Candledance. If the item qualifies for a return, the exchange or store credit is for the product cost only. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

    If you are shipping the defective product back to Candledance, you are responsible for cost of returning the merchandise, packing it securely and insuring the package for return shipping. Returns are to be sent insured in their original, unused condition to Candledance (101 Breaker Circle, Brentwood, TN 37027) within 14 days of the receipt date. We are not responsible for uninsured packages. Credit will not be issued for items not returned via insured mail. When the return is received, we will process the return as long as the item is in new condition.

    Candledance will not replace items or issue a credit for any product due to dislike of the product or the scent. Candledance is committed to customer satisfaction, but please remember that not everyone likes a particular scent. We encourage customers to purchase sampler sets prior to investing in more costly products to ensure they enjoy a particular fragrance. All custom candle sales are final. No exceptions. Buy purchasing from our site, you are agreeing to our return policy.

    DAMAGED PRODUCTS:
    Candledance cannot be held responsible for damage that occurs during shipping. We are very careful to protect our products for shipping, however we understand that sometimes breakage occurs. We are happy to replace your product free of charge, but only after you file a claim with either UPS (800/742-5877) or the USPS (. Please contact the shipping company within 24 hours (no more than 5 days) to report the damage. Do not discard any items until contacted by Candledance or the shipping company. The shipping company may want to inspect the damage. If damaged items or packaging are thrown away a credit cannot be issued and the product replacement cannot be sent under any circumstance. The shipping company will notify us and we will proceed with recreating your order.

    CANCELLATIONS:
    You may cancel your order only prior to the product being shipped, usually within the first 48 hours. There will be a 25% cancellation fee. We will not accept a product return that is not defective or damaged.
